ACTAN is a national organisation representing health & social care sector training,
education and development in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. We aim to
promote and develop best practice in the use of occupational standards across
health, care and education. We achieve this by supporting networking activity
across the UK and representing our members on a local, regional and national level.
Over the last few years our membership has widened to cover centres in all health
and social care sectors. We provide regular regional activities, sit on national
consultation committees and organise an annual national conference.
